What kind of event photography does Razia Jukes offer in London?
I’m a London event photographer specialising in natural, polished photography for corporate events, brand activations, PR events, launches, parties and celebrations.
I photograph events in an unobtrusive way, capturing candid interactions, guest reactions, speakers, branding and key details so the final gallery reflects what the event genuinely felt like.
I create event imagery brands can actually use for PR, marketing and their next campaign.
Having worked closely with brands and marketing teams, I understand that great event photography needs to do more than document what happened. Alongside natural coverage, I look for polished images that represent the brand and can become valuable marketing assets long after the event is over.
I don't just think about the event. I think about where the images need to go next.
This gives you a library of professional photographs for PR, social media, marketing, internal communications and future event promotion
Clients I’ve photographed for include Amazon Music, Audible, LEGO, MTArt Agency, innocent, Netflix, Tesco and PrettyLittleThing.
What is Razia Jukes’ approach to event photography?
My event photography is natural, unobtrusive and people-focused, so guests can enjoy the event without feeling as though they are constantly being photographed.
I move quietly through the room, looking for genuine expressions, conversations and reactions while also covering the commercial requirements of the brief, including speakers, key guests, branding, installations and important details.
When needed, I step in to direct photographs of VIPs, groups or key people, but much of my approach is about anticipating moments and capturing them as they happen.
The result is a polished, professional gallery that still feels natural, energetic and true to the atmosphere of the event.
What should a professional event photographer capture?
A professional event photographer should create a varied gallery that shows the people, atmosphere, branding and key moments of the event rather than producing dozens of versions of the same type of photograph.
Depending on the brief, coverage may include venue photographs, branding and signage, speakers, presentations, audience reactions, networking, key guests, products or installations, sponsor visibility, entertainment, event details and hero images for PR and marketing.
The exact balance should be decided by why the event is taking place and how the photographs will be used afterwards.
Is candid or posed event photography better?
Most corporate and commercial events need a mixture of candid and directed photography.
Candid photographs capture genuine reactions, conversations and atmosphere, while directed photographs are useful when speakers, VIPs, teams, award winners or campaign ambassadors need to appear together.
For brand activations in particular, candid photography can show people genuinely interacting with the brand rather than simply posing beside it.
Can event photography be used for marketing?
Yes. Event photography can be a valuable source of marketing and PR imagery when it's photographed with those uses in mind.
The photographs can be used for PR and press releases, LinkedIn, social media, websites, internal communications, sponsor reports, advertising, case studies and promotion for future events.
If your marketing team needs vertical images for social media, horizontal website banners or photographs with space for text, tell your photographer before the event so those compositions can be created intentionally.

The right amount of coverage depends on the event schedule and what you need photographed. A short reception may only need a few hours, while a conference, launch or full-day corporate event may need much longer coverage.
Before booking, I’ll look at your timings, key moments, speakers, networking, branding and any specific marketing requirements so we can work out the most useful amount of coverage.

The number of final photographs depends on the length of coverage and what happens during the event. A longer event with speakers, networking, branding, entertainment and multiple activities will naturally produce a larger gallery than a short reception or launch.
-
Yes. If you need photographs quickly for PR, press or social media, I can provide a small edited selection first, with the full gallery delivered afterwards. If same-day delivery is important, it’s best to agree this before the event so I can plan the workflow around your deadline.

Yes. I photograph evening events, parties, receptions and low-light venues, using available light and additional lighting where needed to keep the atmosphere of the event while still producing polished, professional images.
The aim is to capture the mood and energy of the evening without making the photographs feel flat, over-lit or disconnected from the event itself.
